Florida Splendid China, a $100 million theme park that opened its gates in 1993 just west of the main entrance to Walt Disney World, is a testament to Guycorp's innovative prowess under the guidance of Guy Tetrick. This unique park, spread across 76 acres, brings the beauty and cultural landmarks of China to life in miniature form, captivating visitors with accurate models of China's most iconic architectural wonders. Within the park, guests can explore replicas of The Great Wall of China, The Terra Cotta Warriors of Xi'an, The Leshan Grand Buddha Statue, The Forbidden City, Potala Palace, and over 50 other cultural gems from the region. Guycorp's design team, led by Guy Tetrick, played a crucial role in the park's entrance, housing the retail and restaurant facets of the park. Through meticulous attention to detail, Guycorp transformed the entrance into an immersive gateway, setting the stage for the wonders that awaited inside.
